By accessing or using Brave Voice Journey, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Brave Voice Journey is intended for use by parents, guardians, clinicians, and other authorized adults. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to provide information about any child whose information you enter into the service.

The parent-facing web version is intended for limited parent-entered information and is not intended to be used by clinicians for storing or managing PHI, patient charts, clinical notes, or broader child PII.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or other users.

Some parts of Brave Voice Journey are free, while others require a paid subscription. If you subscribe, you agree to the pricing, billing cadence, and renewal terms presented at checkout.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details on our own servers. Free trials, promotional access, and refunds may be offered at our discretion or as stated on the site.

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, without limitation, not:

• Using the service for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
• Attempting to interfere with security, access controls, or normal product operation.
• Uploading content you do not have the right to use or share.
• Using the web version of Brave Voice Journey to store or transmit PHI, clinical records, therapist notes, or other sensitive patient documentation.
• Copying, scraping, reverse engineering, or exploiting the service beyond permitted use.
• Using the service in a way that infringes the rights or privacy of others.

You retain ownership of the content you upload or create in Brave Voice Journey, subject to the rights needed for us to host, process, store, and display that content to operate the service for you.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to provide that content, including any permissions required for child-related recordings or information.

Brave Voice Journey is designed around video self-modeling principles and parent-guided practice. It is a practice and support tool, not a clinical intervention, medical service, crisis service, diagnosis, or substitute for professional evaluation and treatment.

You should work with a licensed clinician familiar with selective mutism for diagnosis, treatment planning, and medical or therapeutic advice.

For clinicians who need to work with patient data, the intended version is the downloadable desktop version, which is designed to keep patient data local on the clinician's own device.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. We also may update features, pricing, workflows, or product offerings as the platform evolves.

Brave Voice Journey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brave Voice Journey and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brave Voice Journey and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

These terms will be governed by and construed under the laws applicable to the business operating Brave Voice Journey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
